Great weekend for Five-O Basketball. Cedric Wynn 17U wins at lake Zurich going 3-0 to win the ship, Ryan A Shelton 17U goes 2-1 in Lake Zurich, Lamont Johnson 13U team goes 2-1 At Bulls Sox Academy, Robert Bellinger Jr. 13U boys go 3-0 at Supreme Courts, Chey Gaines 14U team goes 2-1 At Supreme Courts and the 11U team goes 3-0 in West Chicago. Great weekend for the program!!!

In a close battle throughout the entire game, Rockford Five-O 13U came out with the victory against 815 Future on Sunday.

Mark Harris, with 6 seconds left in a tied game, knocked down a big free throw to win it for his team. 

Ty Goldsmith was on fire, scoring back-to-back jumpshots to keep his team in the game. Way to be a leader!


Congratulations to Rockford 5-0 9U, who went 1-2 in the AAU Qualifier this weekend in Lake Zurich!

They played tough but came up short.

Now we prepare for Detroit at the end of month!

Season Record is 26-4 after this weekend.

We are very proud of you!

The 15U Rockford Five-O/FVV Elite Team finished 1-2 at the NY2LA tournament held in Milwaukee this past weekend.

Leading scores were Josh Ausler, Logan Villafuerte, and Tyler Penney.

Top team defense was led by Elijah Dixon, Damonte Davis, Tyler Penney, and Josh Ausler.

Top 6th man players were led by Blake Burrows, Zach Derus, and Carson Roberts.

Had a very solid victory against Adidas program Yanders Law out of MO, took a loss in a close game to Randolph Boys, and finished a fast paced game against Mac Irvin Fire EYBL.

Great weekend of competition – lots of ways to improve and many good things to build on.

The Rockford 5-O 13U team played good basketball this weekend in the FVV Elite League at Auburn High School.

They lost their first game by two points in a down to the wire game against Mean Streets.

J’mar Johnson hit two big three pointers to put his team back in the game, but the team couldn’t come out with the victory.

The team bounced back with a victory over the Rockford 5-O 13U-D team.


Congratulations to the Rockford Five-O 14U Team this weekend with another good team win!

They defeated Washington Park 72-29.

Rockford Five-O 13U-D took two losses this weekend in the FVV Elite League. But that wasn’t for a lack of effort.

From Coach Isaac:

“We have to overcome our lack of size by boxing out and moving the ball on offense.”

The developmental team will continue to push forward and work together to reach this common goal.

Wow! What a weekend!


Illinois Middle School Basketball Championships:


Great job this weekend by the Rockford Five-O 10U!

They went 2-2 at the Illinois Middle School Basketball Championships this weekend at the UW Health Sports Factory!

They took a tough loss in their 10U game to Lenord on Friday night.

They beat both the Chicago Dreamers and the Rock Fall Rockets on Saturday.

Sunday the 10U lost the Consolation Championship to the Rockford Elite by 1 point at a buzzer beater!

Darian Royal and Anthony Lambert(AJ) played very well. AJ supplied the team with a lot of scoring and Darian was very aggressive on the boards.

Great job 10U we are very proud of you!


Great playing this weekend by the Rockford Five-O 14U-D!
They went 4-1 in the Illinois Middle School Basketball Championship! They only lost by 5 points in the Championship game!

Adrian agee had 15 points, 2 rebounds, 3 steals, and 2 great assists in the first game. Keep up the great work!

In the second game, Malachi Johnson had 16 points, 3 steals, 1 rebound, and 2 assists. Great leadership Malachi!

Monterio Harrington picked up big numbers in the first game. He had 12 points, 9 rebounds, and 4 steals. He is stepping up his game!

2018 FVV Spring League:


What a great way to start off the season for Rockford 5-0 13U!

The team played some amazing defense, which lead to several turnovers.

Mark Harris sealed the deal in today’s first game with two clutch free throws that lead to a comeback victory against Rockford Heat 8!

The group went 3-0 today defeating Rockford Heat 8, Rockford 5-0 13U, and Washington Park 8.

Great job boys, keep it up!

Rockford Five-O 13U-D took a tough loss today at their first game against Rockford Five-O 13U, but they played together as a team. When they get a few more practices under their belt, they can get a little payback on Coach Rob and his team. #fiveofamily

Great Tournaments This Weekend!

Congratulations to Rockford Five-O/FVV ELITE 9U Team for taking the Championship at the Top 20 Invite at Supreme Courts in Aurora.

Work Hard 2 Play Hard!

The Rockford Five-O/FVV Elite 11U battled hard yesterday in the CYBN Top 20 Tournament. They lost the first game to 6th/7th Grade Coolidge Middle School by one, on a last second shot.

Amir Danforth put on a shooting clinic connecting on Five 3-Pointers!

The team lost 35-34.

The second game we blew out Illinois Attack by 20.

Mason Walsh had a breakout game off the bench with 12 pts, followed by Brian Harper, J’Siah Jefferson, and Jaden Webster with 10 each.

The 3rd game we beat Mount Prospect by 20.

J’Siah Jefferson was a MONSTER on defense, coming up with steal after steal, turning them into transition points. Amir, Jaden and Brian were knocking down the 3-ball like free throws.

The team went 2-1 in a really good tournament.

The 11U Team will play in the State Tournament at the sports factory in Rockford, May 16th – 18th, 2018.

10U Five-O Team went 3-0 and won the Championship Game against Plainfiled Future in Plainfield, IL today!

MVP #12 Nick Vyborny played and scored a lot today. Congrats Nick!

Great day for Five-O/FVV Elite Basketball!

9U went 2-1 with a huge win over Wisconsin Playground Elite! 10U went 2-1 with an overtime loss by only 1 point to Rockford Elite!11U went 3-0 to win the Championship!

All Five-O Teams go 3-0 today in Deerfield, winning the Championship at all 3 levels: 9U, 10U, 11U!

The kids all played with poise, heart, and toughness. We continue to improve in our man-to-man defense, and the kids actually understand Helpside D. We have shown that we are tenacious when guarding the ball.

Great job Davontay Lewis, Hosea Harris, Thomas Hawkins, Devin Bell, and Aaron Vanblaircon.

10U Five-O Team played with grit today going 2-1 losing in the Championship Game to Rockford Elite by 1. The team qualified for the Middle School Championship March 16th thru the 18th Downtown at the UW Health Sports Factory. Great job Coach Davontay Lewis!


January 13, 2018

Five-O 9U Team and 11U Team BLOW UP the Sports Factory today at JJ Cooley’s Midwest MLK Challenge!

9U Team went 3-0 beating Rockford Elite, Lincoln Way Wildcats, and the Chicago Demons.

11U Team went 3-0 beating the Rockford Chiefs, Sterling, and Big Time from Springfield.

The Five-O 11U Team also qualified for the Illinois Middle School Championships:
March 16th-18th, 2018.

Player of the Game for the 11U Team is Jaden Webster who hit a half-court 3-pointer to win the Championship Game with NO TIME LEFT!

Congratulations to the Rockford Five-O 9U, 10U, & 11U Teams at the tournament today in Willow Springs!

11U team went 3-0 today to win 1st place, our 10U team played hard and went 1-2, and our up and coming 9U team went 2-1!

Way to sink those shots and hold that D today! We are very proud of all of you!
